A tree carried through line

The Tree of Life brings together growth, renewal and continuity through a composition of branching forms, leaves and flowers.
What makes this piece especially significant within Indie Kaarigari is the surface carrying that story.

The image is not simply painted onto paper or fabric. It is developed across prepared palm leaves, where the design is first engraved by hand and then brought to life through natural colour.

The leaf remains visible beneath the image.
The line remains visible beneath the pigment.

For Indie Kaarigari, this is where palm-leaf Pattachitra becomes part of a larger story of continuity:

a material once used to carry writing and image now carries another story into a contemporary home.

• Keep away from moisture and excessive humidity.
• Avoid prolonged direct sunlight.
• Keep away from strong heat sources.
• Dust framed artwork gently with a clean, dry, soft cloth.
• Do not apply water, cleaning liquids, oils or chemical polish to the artwork.
• Handle unframed pieces only with clean, dry hands and preferably from the edges.
• Avoid rubbing the engraved or coloured surface.
• When storing unframed, keep the artwork folded, tied, dry and protected from pressure or abrasion.

At Indie Kaarigari, we take pride in the craftsmanship behind every piece. Many of our products are handcrafted or prepared after an order is confirmed, allowing us to retain a closer connection between the buyer and the making process.

Where technically possible, this also allows us to explore customisation.

If you would like a particular size, design adjustment, inscription, framing preference or another custom requirement, please contact us with the product link and your requested customisation before placing the order.

Customisation is always subject to the material, technique and artisan’s feasibility.

Important for this product: Tree of Life is ordered to make exact artwork. Any alteration to this particular finished artwork or request for a similar customised version must therefore be discussed and confirmed before ordering.

We offer a 5-day window for a free return, replacement or appropriate resolution if the product arrives physically damaged.

A valid continuous unboxing video is mandatory for transit-damage claims.

Unboxing Video Requirements

• Ideally begin with the unopened package as received.
• Record the entire unboxing in one continuous clip.
• Do not cut, pause or edit the video.
• Show the condition of the outer packaging.

B. Standard Replacement — Change of Mind / Preference

If you wish to replace the artwork for a reason other than transit damage, we offer a 10-day replacement window.

For such replacements:

• Forward and reverse shipping/logistics costs are borne by the customer.
• The artwork must remain unused and undamaged.
• It must be returned with its original packaging and accompanying materials.
• A replacement is subject to availability.

Because this is an Ordered-to-make  piece, the same artwork cannot be guaranteed once returned or exchanged.
