Growth held in structure

Tree of Life 07 focuses less on flowers and more on the architecture of the tree itself.

The trunk rises firmly from the base, dividing into a wide network of branches that carry hundreds of small green leaves.

The image can be read through ideas of:

growth • rootedness • continuity • resilience

What makes this work distinctive is the way the engraved structure remains visible beneath the colour.

The tree is not simply painted onto the surface.

It is built first through line, then carried forward through pigment.

Palm leaf becomes surface.
Line becomes structure.
Colour gives the tree life.
