Growth gathering into colour

Tree of Life 03 carries the idea of growth through abundance.

Rather than separating individual flowers and leaves widely, the composition gathers them densely around the branching tree until the entire canopy begins to feel almost like one living form.

The rising trunk gives the artwork structure, while the repeated pink foliage brings rhythm and fullness.

The Tree of Life can be read through ideas of:

growth, renewal, rootedness and continuity.

Its palm-leaf surface gives those ideas another dimension.

The image is first carried through engraved line, then natural pigment enters the composition without completely covering the material beneath.

The leaf carries a line.
The line carries colour.
Together, they carry the story forward.
