Product Description
Immerse yourself in the divine charm of the Shri Radha-Krishna Pattachitra Painting, capturing the ethereal love story of Radha and Krishna within the enchanting Madhu-Kunj. Crafted with meticulous precision, this traditional Odisha art form seamlessly blends vibrant hues, intricate detailing, and intricate patterns to depict the divine couple in the midst of Madhu-Kunj, a celestial grove synonymous with love and enchantment. As your gaze wanders through the intricate strokes and vivid colors, you'll find yourself transported into the timeless realm of devotion, where Radha and Krishna's eternal love story unfolds in the heart of Madhu-Kunj.
Trying to describe their love in a few words is impossible, yet it is dared by citing: ‘They never got married, they perhaps never saw each other again after their mid teenage, but Krishna while leaving for Gurukul, gave his beloved flute to Radha and promised “This flute was ever played only for You(Radha) and never to be played by Me(Krishna) ever again” which he kept all through his life.’ Also Radha is always named before Krishna and never the other way around.

Care Instructions
Care Instructions
General tips:
- Avoid direct sunlight: Sunlight can fade the colors and cause the paint to crack. Hang your Pattachitra in a room with indirect light or controlled lighting.
- Keep it dry: Dampness can warp the canvas and promote mold growth. Avoid hanging your Pattachitra in humid environments like bathrooms or kitchens.
- Maintain stable temperature: Extreme temperature fluctuations can damage the painting. Ideally, keep the temperature between 65°F and 75°F.
- Handle with care: Avoid touching the painted surface directly with your fingers, as oils and dirt can transfer and damage the artwork. Always handle your Pattachitra with clean, dry hands.
Cleaning and dusting:
- Gently dust: Use a soft brush or feather duster to remove dust from the surface of the painting. Do not use a vacuum cleaner, as it can be too harsh and damage the delicate paint.
- Framed vs. unframed: For framed Pattachitras, use a clean, dry cloth to wipe the frame and brush along the edges where the frame meets the painting. If the painting is unframed, lay it flat on a stable surface and dust both sides gently.
- Difficult areas: For intricate areas or crevices, use a small, soft brush to carefully remove dust. You can also use a compressed air blower on the lowest setting to dislodge stubborn dust particles.
- Never use water or chemicals: Water can cause the paint to bleed and chemicals can damage the artwork. Do not use any cleaning solutions, even those marketed for paintings, as they are often designed for different materials.
