Product Description
Experience the rhythm of ancient India with this Handmade Black Dhokra Tribal Singha Baja / Dulduli Figurine, crafted using one of humanity’s oldest metal-working traditions. Produced through the Dhokra casting method—a Bronze Age technique that originated in the Indus–Saraswati Valley Civilization (5000–10000 BC)—this artwork stands as a timeless symbol of tribal music, culture, and heritage.
This figurine depicts a tribal musician (a drummer-like performer) holding a traditional dulduli / singha baja instrument, often played alongside drumsticks, tribal drums, hand drums, dhols, and drum sets in ritual celebrations. Its deep black finish is a result of the rare and highly skilled Black Dhokra casting method, practiced only by a few artisans today.
Crafted from scrap alloys, this sculpture represents sustainable craftsmanship—natural, eco-friendly, and authentically handmade. Each piece is individually cast in a remote artisan village of Odisha, surrounded by pristine landscapes and rich tribal culture.
Perfect for collectors of dhokra metal craft, dhokra art, dhokra craft, tribal décor lovers, musicians, and anyone inspired by traditional drums, music, and rhythm. Ideal for shelves, table décor, living rooms, studios, and gifting.
Bring home the spirit of tribal music—a drummer’s energy captured forever in metal.
